"Fire investigation" 2-days course is the only such course available in Singapore, and was attended by Singapore Police officers, fire investigators, loss adjusters, Investigators from Transport Safety Investigation Bureau (TSIB), Professional engineers, safety officers and insurance professionals including AIG, MSIG etc.

Fire Investigation training course by UTC Fires of vehicles, structural buildings, products, materials and industrial facilities resulted in huge loss in economy and even fatality (human life loss). Fire investigation is the analysis of fire-related incidents to determine the fire origin(s), fire cause(s) and mechanisms, thus proper measures can be taken to prevent the recurrence of the similar fire incident(s). Effective forensic fire investigation can provide solid foundation for the insurance claims and litigation issues.

UTC fire experts had conducted "vehicle fire investigation" training course for LTA Singapore and also attended by SCDF experts.

This fire investigation training course was funded by Employment and Employability Institute (e2i) for three years with training grant of S$240/pax.

UTC's Fire Investigation course is approved by government agencies, qualified for 14 PDUs by PEB (Professional Engineer Board, Singapore), 3 CPD (FSM) and 14 SDU(WSHO, SISO). After attending UTC's fire investigation courses, fire safety managers (FSM), professional engineers (PE) and safety officers can be awarded CPD (FSM), PDU (PE) and SDU (SISO, WHSO) for fulfilling their renewal requirements.

UTC’s Experts and guest lecturers with extensive experience from industries conduct industrial technical training courses to public to share their knowledge and industrial experience.

UTC offers both regular public courses and in-house customized training.
